I guess I was spot on in my previous blog when I said that some celebrities see themselves as being better and more important than other people. So, the Drum Beat concert took place on the 16th and 17th August 2013, at the Soweto Theatre. The likes of Thandizwa Mazwai, Zonke, Donald, Sindi Nene, Moneoa were among some of the talented South African singers that took to the stage. Now everything went well at the event but then again is there any event that takes place without some drama or temper tantrums? No, I don’t think so.
Kelly Khumalo, the controversial singer was up to her tricks AGAIN. When she arrived at the Drum Beat Concert she insisted that she should be treated like a VIIP – Very Important Important Person. The SAMA (South African Music Awards) winner arrived in her Hummer to find a queue at the entrance. She immediately demanded special treatment, insisting she should be allowed to park inside the venue. When she was instructed by the people manning the gate to park in the VIP section where all other VIP guests had parked, she started swearing at them asking the guards what they took her for. “Do you expect me to park my car in that dark parking lot?” she proclaimed.

ReplyDeleteExactly. I mean she was told that all other VIP guests are parked where she was adviced to go park but no, not Kelly. She had to go and swear at the poor guards for doing their job. She is seeking attention for all the wrong reasons.

ReplyDeleteShe really does undermine people. The funny thing is that there are other celebs who have achieved way more than she has so I don't understand why she feels the need to rub it in other people's faces that she is a celebrity.
DeleteThere is no use denying it anymore, whenever one is hosting a party and is shot of drama, contact Kelly. I mean really now! Journalists no longer wants to cover her anymore because it seems like she is doing all of this purposedly just to get publicity (otherwise how do you define a mom who claims to have changed and is singing Gospel but still grabing headlines for such?) Kelly needs to grow up, or atleast hire a proper manager other than her sister. The proffesional PR that will teach her how to behave in public is what she needs.
ReplyDeleteI think Kelly thinks that she knows best. I doubt she'll listen to anyone. She does whatever she wants, whenever she wants and with whomever she wants. And yes, she really needs to grow up, it's about time now!
